OUR STORY

Pieter's grandfather built the house. We just added the bathrooms.

We farm Dorper sheep on 1 200 hectares of Karoo veld. In 2019 we opened three rooms in the old farmhouse, because travellers kept stopping at the gate to ask if they could stay.

Breakfast is eggs from our hens, bread from the farm oven and fig jam from the tree by the kitchen door. Dinner on request, with a day's notice.

What guests say

"The quiet is the first thing you notice. The second is Anri's bread."
